Brothers Damien & Chris have been working together and individually on bespoke architectural homes across Sydney, The Blue Mountains and Hobart for a combined 20+ years. As apprentices, carpenters, foremen, and project managers for a number of award winning builders they have honed their craft and management skills to help produce beautifully designed, meticulously detailed, energy efficient homes within a collaborative environment of clients, architects and trades. Whether renovations, extensions or new builds, together they have experience in everything from rammed earth and hempcrete to passive house and high end architecture.

Our background
Damien Barbera
Qualified builder Damien completed his carpentry apprenticeship with award winning Sydney builder Steele Associates and worked with a handful of high end construction companies as carpenter and foreman. Damien has spent the past 5 years with Hobart-based bespoke builder Skookom where he has managed builds on site and been a part of the preconstruction administration team to assist in planning and producing unique homes that outperform in our Tassie climate. Damien’s ability to communicate with clients, architects, designers, consultants and trades ensures that each expert in their field is working toward a shared vision.
Chris Barbera
Chris has most recently worked as carpenter and foreman on residential renovations and new builds with NSW based fine home builders Invue Homes & Marsh to Mansion. Always looking to master new skills Chris produces beautiful pieces of construction and furniture in timber, steel, concrete and more in meticulous detail. His passion for the craft is infectious and he always seems to bring together a team of individuals who are looking to improve every detail as well as their own craft.
